My dear sweet Peyton,
Oh how I love you! I hope that you know that and that I tell you enough...because I do! I truly believe that you were meant to be my daughter and my first child. You have one of the sweetest spirits, and I dont mean that in a bad way. But you have the most tender heart and sensitive soul. I love that about you. You know exactly how to deal with me and my craziness. I'll be the first to admit that I have a temper and through your 4 years here with me, you have learned how to calm me down and bring me back to reality. It makes me laugh. I really am so grateful for you.
Right now you are in preschool with Miss Sara. You love it and cant wait for Tuesday and Thursday.
You're also in gymnastics. I love watching you. You try your hardest at everything. Your favorite is the balance beam and girl, you rock it! Every time we walk to the park or pool you practice the balance beam on the edge of the sidewalk.
You have become such a great eater and I really love it! You eat everything I make and you always love it and give the best compliments. One of your favorite shows is Master Chef. We even caught you  playing master chef at your diner the other evening.
You are quite the perfectionist. When coloring a picture you like to color it exactly how the box shows it.
You love to play with and tease Penelope.
This summer you were old enough to touch the bottom of the pool and swim without your floaties.

Paisley:
Holy Moly girl! You are now 3 years old and woah....you have some attitude! You are definitely more whiny than you have ever been and cry quite often.
You miss Peyton when she goes to preschool and ask me, "Where Teyton go, Mommy?"
You call yourself Taisley, Peyton is Teyton, and Penelope is ellapea.
You are very defensive of your sisters. If Peyton is getting in trouble by mom or dad you always defend her and come to her aid! "Don't yell at my Teyton!!"
You are probably the pickiest eater. I cant ever get you to eat anything. You're always asking for "lunch"-peanut butter jelly sandwiches.

Penelope:
You are such a joy. I cant even express in words how much I love and adore you. You melt my heart. I hate going to work SO much because I don't want to leave you. You are definitely a momma's girl. Whenever I am not home you crawl all over the house searching for me. Daddy says you are quite whiny when I'm gone but light up as soon as I come home. You are still nursing. You have loved everything we have fed you, but you especially love sweet potatoes.
You are so curious and getting into everything! Also you are the most daring baby yet. You've already fallen off the bed/couch more times than we are proud to admit, strangled yourself in the curtain cord, and fallen down an entire flight of stairs(scariest moment of my life!). Everyone always comments on how beautiful your eyes are and how they sparkle. Your Grandpa Bennion said that you are going to be very intelligent and that you have wisdom in your eyes.
You are such a happy, smiley baby. When you smile your eyes crinkle up and I love it! You love to play with your tongue. You are so calm and content. I can tell that you just love being apart of our family. You have a lot of fun with your big sisters.

It is past 11 p.m. and I am dead tired. I have spent the entire day grocery shopping, cleaning, and cooking and I have to write this because I am afraid if I keep putting this off I will forget.
Peyton
Lately whenever we play "diner" with you and we ask you for a hot dog, etc. you say, "Yes, problem."...translation "Yes, no problem." I love it....seriously hilarious!
You are sooo good at saying prayers now. You say them all the time. The other day on the way home your daddy and I heard you say, "Heavenly Father, bless this day,...and then you proceeded to bless everyone in our family, Bracy, Shaun, Gran-ma, Paw-ee, Mom, Bob, Maw-ee, Daw-ee, etc. Amen!" And then you would throw your hands up in the air and start clapping. You make me so happy and so proud.
You love to sing as loud as you can in the grocery stores. Everyone stops and compliments you, but as soon as they do you get really shy. Your favorite songs to sing are ABC's and twinkle twinkle. Sometimes you get really serious and really into it and you start swaying your head with your eyes closed really tight. It is probably the funnest thing ever. I laugh every time.
On our way home from Pier 1, as we were coming out of the parking lot, this guy totally cut us off. Before Brandt and I could even respond or say anything you yell from the back seat, "Jacka$$!" Our mouths fell wide open and we looked at each other and said, "Who taught her that?!" It turns out you were actually trying to say jacket but it didn't quite come out right. It was so funny and the perfect timing.
We bought you a toy bucket and you love it. You carry it around with you at all times and we just love the way you say buck-et. "My buckat"
You love rice. You call it "ice".
I love waking up to you singing your ABC's in the morning.
When you ask for a peanut butter and jelly sandwich you say, "Butter Jelly!"
Tonight at dinner when I asked if you wanted some sweet potato fries you said, "Yes, please." It melted my heart.
You just love your baby sister. Yesterday I called her goose and you firmly corrected me and said, "No, Pais-ee"
Your favorite words are "Oh my Gosh!" And you know exactly when to say it.
Whenever you eat something that is really good you close your eyes and say, "mmmmm, yummy"
You give the best hugs ever.
Whenever you don't want to do something you say, "Eva, Eva"...like you're never ever going to do that.
You love getting on the slide, but not going down it. You're kinda a chicken :)
You put EVERYTHING on your head.
You call swimming suits "soups".
Lately you have been obsessed with wearing my shoes all over the wear and you claim that they are your shoes.
Ever since you started climbing out of your crib and are now in a toddler bed you have realized you aren't confined. So whenever we get you up after bedtime or a nap, you always have books and toys in your bed. I love knowing that you fall asleep reading your favorite books.
Whenever I change Paisley's diaper you say, "Ewww!" and you like to change your bears diaper, you even have to wipe his bum.
Sometimes when you want something you will say, "It's mine." In a really deep scary voice and then you just start giggling hysterically at yourself.

Paisley
You are such a sweetheart. When your Grandma Rella came to visit she said that you could probably smell your momma from a mile away....you are one momma's girl and I love it. Everytime you see me your face lights up and you get so happy and start breathing out of your nose really hard and scrunch it up. You miss me when I am gone.
You have started crawling and you are a crawling machine!! You still hate to sit though.
You love to pull hair...and it hurts!
You like to imitate noises.
When you are crawling/scooting you do this really cute little bunny hop thing.
When you get really tired you bury your head into our chest and shoulder...I love it because you are the best cuddler ever.

Wow, I am feeling so anxious today! We are moving everything out of our apartment into our trailer, cleaning, getting to see Grams and Gramps, getting to find out what baby is!!!!- will you get a little brother or sister? I am so excited and scared and nervous. It is making me feel sick to my stomach! But at least I have you to cheer me up and make me laugh. This morning I gave you some plain cheerios to eat and then after that I decided to make it fun and I gave you some frosted ones. As soon as you put the first one in your mouth you looked up and put your hand in the air and gave me the thumbs up...I literally started cracking up. And then you proceeded to start playing the drums in excitement on your cheerios. You are too cute. Your new favorite activity...besides playing in the toilet-GROSS! Is going to your highchair, getting on your tippy toes and finding the cheerios you missed earlier and eating them. It is really fun to watch. I just love you to pieces! You are my sunshine.

I am sorry lil miss Peyton, I haven't written in FOREVER! Today and last night were a very rough night. You have been waking up every morning at 4 a.m. Your poor little teeth are coming in on the top together and I am pretty sure that it is pretty painful. I wish that you could just talk to me and tell me what is going on and then I could make it feel better. We are moving in less than 3 weeks and I cannot wait! We are going to live with Grams and Gramps and I think that will be so good for you. You will have an entire house to explore and a backyard to play in. We are going to get you a small kiddy pool! You are a crazy girl who gets into EVERYTHING. The other day you crawled over to the bookshelf and I couldn't see you because a box was in the way...but I knew that something that up because you stayed in the same spot for more than a minute and you were extremely quite. So Brandt went over to check on you and there you were holding a bowl of cereal I had left on the shelf thinking you couldn't reach it, with milk all over your Sunday dress, stuffing your mouth will Corn Pops. And as soon as you saw us coming you started shoving them in, silly girl! You knew what was up :) Also, you ate the other eyeball. So that means you have eaten both eyeballs!! I found it in your poop and I still have NO idea where you found it.
You are getting so bored with this apartment. You are always wanting to go outside, but sorry honey it snowed yesterday..again! This is what we get for living in Rexburg. You are such a good girl though and such a mommas helper!

Hey sweet girl! Sorry it has been such a long time since I have written; I have lots to catch up on! You are doing so many new things!
  • You have started giving the best kisses ever! They may be wet and sloppy...but I still love them!
  • You are now officially CRAWLING!!! And you are good at it!
  • You are always sitting up on your own and pulling yourself up onto things, both on your knees and feet. It is SO weird to see you standing up!
  • You have started doing the lip bopping thing again.
  • You love to blow raspberries.
I just love you! The other day I went into your room to find you up on your knees knawing on the side of your crib with paint all over your face, you silly girl! We also just got back from Utah. We were visiting Adam, Brit, and Matt and you had SO much fun!!! You and Matt were so cute together. You took your baths together- you guys had WAY too much fun splashing. Every time you would see Matt you would start waving your arms up and down in excitement! And Aunt Brittany made you the cutest headband for Valentines Day! It was such a fun trip, we all had a wonderful time.

Last night your Dad and I were keeping to our tradition when we snuck into your bedroom to sneak a peek. And as soon as we opened the door...there you were!! On your hands and knees peeking over the edge of your crib smiling at us!! Seriously, the cutest thing I have EVER seen in my life!! It melted my heart and I couldn't resist...I just had to pick you up and hug you! You were so happy and just wide awake and ready to play! But you are such a good girl, as soon as I wrapped you back up and put you back in your crib you played for a little bit and then you went right back to sleep.

Hi Baby! Just wanted to tell you how much I love you! I was just looking at pictures of you from a couple months ago and...WOW, have you changed! You have so much more hair now, it has come in a lot thicker and surprisingly it is getting lighter. Are you going to be blonde little girl?
Recently you have been attempting to crawl. And for the last couple of days you have been taking your first crawling steps. You only take a few and then you will plop down onto your tummy and start army crawling everywhere. It is so fun for me to watch you grow and learn and develop. You really are so smart. Seriously. Everyone at church can't believe how much personality you have. They all say that you seem older because you are so mobile and lively, which I love!
I probably have written this before...but I cant get over how cute your two new teeth are! I love them. Your dad has been eating an apple a day and every time you see that apple you start waving your arms and get all excited and start to whine if he doesnt pick you up fast enough because you want some of that apple. Dad will take a bite and then you open your mouth really wide because you know what's coming...your turn to take a bite! It is so cute! You actually bite into the apple and nibble little pieces off with your two little teeth! And you love it :) So of course that makes us happy.
Today I pulled out your swing. You haven't been in it since you were a teeny tiny baby( probably about 2 months old). You used to sleep in your swing every night. It was the only way I could get you to sleep at night without having to hold you. But when you were awake you wanted absolutely nothing to do with your swing. You would get so bored in it just after a few seconds. But today, after I tried everything to keep you entertained, I decided to pull out the good ole swing that I was so sure you were just going to love. And today you did!!! You loved it! You sat in there for over 10 minutes-a record for you while awake! I was/am a proud momma! However, I have to watch you closely because you like to reach up and try to pull the lambs off of your mobile and I would probably cry if you broke it.
